Google's Academic Research Grants give researchers Google Cloud credits for a specific research project. Google advertises up to $5,000 in research credits; PhD students can apply for up to $1,000. Master's and other graduate students are not eligible.
Applicants must be faculty, postdoctoral researchers or PhD students at an accredited higher-education institution or an eligible nonprofit research institution in an approved country (the list of about 80 countries includes Indonesia, India, Malaysia, the US, UK and most of the EU). For-profit institutions are not supported.
Terms: credits must be activated within 60 days of your project start date and expire 365 days after redemption or when used up. They are non-transferable, cannot be used commercially or personally, and only cover Google Cloud Platform products for the project in your application.
