Statutory Compliance

We follow notice and takedown procedures defined under 17 U.S.C. § 512.

5-Day Review

Valid infringement notices are investigated and acted upon within 5 business days.

Counter-Notice Rights

Material removed in error may be restored through the formal counter-notice process.

Our Policy

We respect the intellectual property rights of others. All third-party brand names, logos, service marks, and trademarks featured on tahoo.tech belong to their respective owners and are displayed solely to identify and describe the promotional offer, subscription discount, or trial software.

We respond expeditiously to valid notices of alleged infringement under the United States Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. § 512). Upon receipt of a legally sufficient notice, we will remove or disable access to the infringing material.

How to File a Notice

To file a copyright or trademark infringement notice, email our designated agent at [email protected] with the subject line "DMCA Notice".

To be effective, your notice must include all of the following elements:

  1. A physical or electronic signature of the copyright or trademark owner, or an authorized representative acting on their behalf.
  2. Specific identification of the copyrighted work or trademark claimed to have been infringed, or a representative list if multiple works are involved.
  3. Specific identification of the material claimed to be infringing, including the exact URL(s) on tahoo.tech where the material appears.
  4. Your contact information, including your full name, physical mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
  5. A statement that you have a good-faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  6. A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notification is accurate and that you are the owner or authorized to act on behalf of the owner of the intellectual property.

What Happens Next

Upon receipt of a valid notice, our team reviews the report within 5 business days. If the notice satisfies statutory requirements, we will promptly remove or disable access to the challenged material.

When feasible, we will also notify the individual or partner who submitted the listing (such as user-suggested community deals) to inform them of the takedown and provide instructions on counter-notice procedures.

Counter-Notice

If you believe your content was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification, you may submit a written counter-notice to [email protected].

Your counter-notice must include all of the following:

  1. Your physical or electronic signature.
  2. Identification of the material that has been removed or to which access has been disabled, and the former URL where the material appeared before removal.
  3. A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification.
  4. Your full name, physical address, and telephone number, along with a statement consenting to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for the judicial district in which your address is located (or any judicial district in which tahoo.tech may be found if your address is outside the United States), and that you will accept service of process from the person who provided the initial infringement notification.

Upon receipt of a valid counter-notice, we will forward a copy to the original complaining party. We may restore the removed material within 10 to 14 business days following receipt of the counter-notice, unless the original complainant notifies us that they have filed a court action seeking a restraining order against the content.

Repeat Infringers

In accordance with the DMCA and other applicable intellectual property laws, tahoo.tech maintains a policy of terminating or banning submissions, contributors, or partners who repeatedly infringe intellectual property rights.

Brand Owners & Content Updates

If you are a brand owner or authorized representative who simply wishes to update a company logo, clarify deal terms, correct an offer description, or refresh an affiliate destination link (without filing a formal legal claim), you do not need to file a DMCA notice. Please reach out through our Contact page or email [email protected]. We are always glad to ensure your brand is represented accurately.

Misrepresentations in a notice or counter-notice may lead to liability under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f). Last updated: October 16, 2026.
