Claude for Teachers: Free Premium Claude for US K-12 Educators

Claude for Teachers gives verified K-12 educators in the US free access to premium Claude capabilities. It includes a library of teaching skills, Claude Code and Cowork, and connectors to evidence-based curricula such as Learning Commons (standards for all 50 states), OpenSciEd and Illustrative Mathematics.

Training on your conversations is off for verified teacher accounts, and teacher accounts come with FERPA-aligned K-12 terms. Sign up by June 30, 2027 for a full year of free access. Extra usage limits apply.

The program is for individual US educators only (18+). It is not open to teachers outside the US.

US K-12 schools and districts can give every educator on their domain Claude for Teachers at no cost, with centrally managed accounts, role-based access controls, single sign-on, K-12 terms and a student data privacy agreement. Districts can also authorize Claude for Teachers to handle student records on their behalf.

The district offering launched August 28, 2026. Sign up by June 30, 2027 for a full year of free access.
