Arduino partners with GitHub Education to give students in the GitHub Student Developer Pack 6 months of free Arduino Cloud, so you can try the additional features of the Maker plan. You get a discount code after signing in with your GitHub student account, and you redeem it at checkout in the Arduino store.

GitHub students get 50% off the Arduino Certification Program, which certifies your skills in electronics, programming and physical computing. The discount code is shown on Arduino's GitHub Students page after you sign in.
