InstaBox's Free plan ($0) gives every account one cloud machine with 4 vCPU and 8 GiB RAM plus 5 snapshots. According to InstaBox's official pricing announcement (Oct 19, 2026), there is no usage limit on the free machine; it is paused after 30 minutes of inactivity and resumes in under a second with files, memory and running processes kept.
Each machine is a full Linux VM with root access, Docker and Docker Compose, persistent storage, public HTTPS URLs for ports, and an optional virtual desktop that agents can drive (computer use). Snapshot images come preinstalled with tools like docker, node, go, git, gh, claude and codex.
The free machine stays free even if you later upgrade to a paid plan. Pro is $20/month plus usage (includes $20/month in credits, up to 5 concurrent machines and up to 8 vCPU / 16 GiB).
Note: InstaBox launched as an invite-only beta on Oct 14, 2026, so new sign-ups may still need an invite code.
